Introduction to Home Funerals

with Sarah Crews

Calendar Dec 2, 2017 at 9 am

For thousands of years, families have taken care of their loved ones at home after death, and that option is still available. By choosing to reclaim the tradition of caring for your own family members at death, you provide not only a final act of love for the departed, but a first step toward healing for those who remain. In this course, we will discuss the legality of home funerals, logistical details and the importance of planning. Sarah will provide a description of green, or natural, burial options, and conclude with a role-playing demonstration on one of your classmates, learning the practical aspects of a home funeral.

Register by November 25th.
