Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.

Social Dance 101

Gain confidence on the dance floor and have fun at this introductory social dance class! You will learn how to dance with a partner by learning how to lead or follow and practice moving to a variety of tempos and music styles. Learn a basic box step which can be adapted to a variety of dances including waltz, rumba and foxtrot. Even if you have previously taken this class with Audrey, you are encouraged to sign up again! There is always more to learn and practice. Please wear comfortable shoes that will allow you to move in any direction without sticking to the floor. No partner is necessary.

Tai Chi for Arthritis

Tai chi is considered a moving meditation and gentle exercise, which originated in China. It is comprised of slow movement and deep breathing. In addition to increasing flexibility, muscular strength and fitness, this session will include forms that are specific to health concerns you may have, like lower back pain, insomnia and high blood pressure. Please join in, whether you have arthritis or are simply looking for lower impact exercise.
