Build a strong foundation in body awareness by allowing yourself to explore your own personal experience of yoga through inner focus. Creative hatha mixed with multiple movement modalities make this course great for beginning to intermediate levels. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.

Her journey led her to the Shambhava School of Yoga in Rollinsville, Colo. where she received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification along with certifications in vinyasa Flow and Yoga for healing. Since then she has completed recently courses with Jason Crandell and Yoga Detour.

Instructor Angelina Lawrence has been a certified Zumba® Instructor since 2010. She has always loved dance, and joining the YMCA in 2006 is what introduced her to Zumba®. She is now certified in Zumba Toning, Zumba Gold and Aqua Zumba. Angelina loves helping people improve their health and fitness through this exciting dance style.

Yin Yang Yoga Series 2

This yoga class is designed for all levels of yogis, including beginners. Enjoy the benefits of slow flow yoga movement and long stretching during this one-hour Yin Yang class. Yin is a passive, transformative style of yoga in which participants hold postures for minutes at a time. Slow down and tune in while you lengthen and therapeutically release joints, muscles, ligaments and other connective tissues in your body. Yang yoga promotes the more active aspect of yoga in a slow flow, gentle style. Combined, we will work on muscles, blood flow, strength, flexibility and balance to promote a healthy life. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.

Instructor Jo Ann McClure is a certified yoga instructor with 200 hours of training through A Work in Progress Yoga Studio in Salina. Jo Ann began her yoga journey through CLASS, which initiated a dream to become an instructor. A CLASS enthusiast, Jo Ann considers one of her hobbies lifelong learning, having taken a wide variety of classes over the years.
